How to Watch the 2025 Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity, Derby & Horse Show!
The 9th annual Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity, Derby & Horse Show kicks off Friday, September 5 at 8 a.m. and runs through Sunday, September 14! Come to Reno to watch in-person… admission is free for all cow horse fans! Or tune in daily to our live feed or live feed with live scoring to keep track of the scores!
The live feed for Friday, Sept. 5 will start before 8 a.m.
Reno Snaffle Bit Sales: Saturday, September 13, 2025
Each year the sale features performance and ranch horses, 2-year-olds, yearlings and broodmares, and offers sale incentives for 2-year-olds and yearlings who come back to compete in the Reno Snaffle Bit Futurity. Sale Previews will be held on Saturday before the sale:
Ranch & Performance Horses: 10 a.m. at the practice pen
Yearlings: 1 p.m. at the half-covered arena
The sale will start approximately one hour after the Non Pro Boxing class has concluded, but not before 4 p.m.
